Bharat Crafted was born from Geeta's belief that India's finest craftsmanship deserves a place in every modern wardrobe and home. A graduate of NIFT Bengaluru, she spent 18 years shaping fashion with renowned brands including Flipkart, Lifestyle, Brand Factory, and Pantaloons.
While the corporate world offered invaluable experience, her passion lay in preserving India's rich textile traditions and empowering the artisans who keep them alive. She made the bold decision to leave her career in Bengaluru and return to her hometown of Visakhapatnam to turn that vision into reality.
Through Bharat Crafted, Geeta is building more than a brand—she is creating a bridge between skilled artisans and conscious customers, proving that beautiful products can also carry purpose, heritage, and a positive impact.

Co-Founder
Deepika's journey with textiles began long before Bharat Crafted. Growing up, she spent countless hours helping her parents run their small clothing store, where she learned to appreciate quality fabrics, honest craftsmanship, and the value of building lasting relationships with customers.
A B.Tech graduate in Computer Science, she combines analytical thinking with a deep passion for cotton and timeless apparel. She believes clothing should be comfortable, authentic, and thoughtfully made. Her love for natural fabrics and her commitment to supporting India's artisans inspire every collection we create, ensuring each piece carries a story of tradition, trust, and heartfelt craftsmanship.
